Deep learning is a machine learning technique that helps computers to learn how to resolve problems by mimic the human brain. It's called 'deep' because it uses multiple layers of an artificial neural network. For example, you could use a deep learning algorithm to prevent frauds in a complex banking system, or to target a group of customers based on their shopping preferences and other factors.
